“Where have all the linkers gone?” It’s about ways the sharing of links and content have changed and how this affects search engines.

Links aren’t what’s trusted it’s the credibility of the person doing the sharing that’s trusted. In light of the explosion of links due to ease of sharing, I expect the value of the traditional curator/linker like my librarian friend to increase.

(WASHINGTON) — Two astronauts will do a spacewalk Saturday to try to fix an ammonia leak in the power system at the International Space Station.

The leak forced the shutdown of one of eight solar panels. But NASA says the space station can operate fine with only seven panels providing power.

NASA announced the decision to do the spacewalk at a briefing Friday afternoon.

Here’s how to change the default search on BlackBerry 10

If for what ever reason you don’t want Bing as the default search engine on BlackBerry 10, there’s any easy way to change it. To change the default Search engine on BB10 it’s super easy. Just follow these instructions from CrackBerry.

If you’ve picked a BlackBerry Z10, opened up the web browser and found your default search engine set to Bing there is a good chance you’re looking for a way to quickly change that. Unless of course, you like Bing. Getting it changed was quite honestly a bit of a task on BlackBerry 7 but with BlackBerry 10 it only takes a few seconds to accomplish:

Open up your web browser and start typing a search in the search.

Up top in the right hand corner, you’ll see the Bing logo. Tap it.

A drop down will appear showing Bing, Google and Yahoo.

Set it to whatever you wish and from there on out, it will be set.

That’s it! You’re all set with whatever search provider you choose and you’ll never have to worry about it reverting back unless you wipe your device or reset it at some point.

There, done! Though I don’t know why anyone would want to change the default search engine on BB10, Bing is awesome. Plus BlackBerry and Microsoft have a partnership deal so everytime you use Bing BlackBerry get money!

I love Bing.

According to a number of anonymous reports, Twitter is in the process of buying Bluefin Labs, an analytics company that specializes in broadcast media -- an acquisition that would be its largest ever. Although the news hasn't been confirmed by either party, a Bluefin deal fits the trajectory that Twitter has been on for some time now: namely, a focus on television as a key partner for the real-time information network.

What I want to know it this; how many people actually watch movies on their phones? Why is Netflix for BlackBerry 10 such a big deal? Netflix is on every video game console, is available in web browsers in smart TV’s and as a stand alone device. Do you really need it on your tiny smartphone?

Do you watch movies on your phone? Is Netflix really that important to have on your smartphone?
